Scorpio Sun, Gemini Moon: The Black Widows and the Men In Black

I just updated the Scorpio Sun, Gemini Moon article I published a few months back after finding out that Naomi Wolf, author of The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism, is a Scorpio Sun, Gemini Moon. (Chart) I had sub-titled that article “Tales from the Underground” as both the National Security Agency and Levi Coffin, the 19th century farmer considered the president of the Underground Railroad, happen to be Scorpio Sun, Gemini Moon natives. It’s a bit of an odd Sun/Moon pairing as Scorpio is the secret agent of the zodiac while Gemini is the village gossip. Of the 144 Sun/Moon profiles, it’s probably the most likely to live life by the motto, “You’re on a need to know basis and you don’t need to know . . . but I’ll tell you anyway.”

If you’ve been paying attention to the news wires you know that Naomi Wolf has a new book out entitled Vagina: A Biography. In this book Wolf seeks to liberate women (and men) by way of the vagina. Among other recommendations Wolf makes in the book, she suggests speaking to the vagina just as you would to another person. This isn’t surprising given the nature of her astrological pedigree. In medical astrology Scorpio rules the genitals while Gemini is renown as the communicator of the zodiac.
